Bungee Jumping in Costa Rica

It's 100% adrenaline!

Why not try bungee jumping in Costa Rica? If you like to partake in extreme sports, bungee jumping could be the biggest thrill of your life! Tens of thousands of jumpers from 4-80 years old have already enjoyed this heart-stopping delight in Costa Rica.

There are two main bungee jumping companies in Costa Rica: Tropical Bungee near San Jose and Pacific Bungee in Jaco. They both list professional affiliations and strict safety standards, but they offer distinctly different bungee experiences.

TROPICAL BUNGEE

Take the 265 foot plunge! Tropical Bungee, the pioneer company, has been operating since 1991. They jump from the Old Colorado River Bridge and offer FREE round trip transportation from the city of San Jose.

If you are looking for a raw rugged bungee high, this is the outfitter for you! They have filmed many commercials featuring tropical bungee jumping for popular American companies, including Levi's, Delta and McDonalds.

With the longest fall distance and a wilderness setting, Tropical Bungee is pure adventure.

PACIFIC BUNGEE

We're talking gravity, man! Opened in 2007, Pacific Bungee in Jaco is a thrill-seekers amusement park with their unique Extreme Machine.

Not only do they have a bungee platform with a 131-foot plummet (water immersion optional), but other cool stuff, too. The Big Swing has an 85-foot free fall, arching from 180 degrees. And The Rocket Launcher catapults you from 0 to 62 mph in less than 3 seconds.

Pacific Bungee offers several packages and even night jumps, so get ready for a full day of fun! Plus, they can coordinate your transportation from San Jose or Manuel Antonio.
